D8IU and ATU Joint Programs


The ECO College of Insurance (ECOI), as a subdivision of Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), is happy to admit students from D8 countries and other parts of the world within the framework of three postgraduate Joint Degree Programs. The programs are established in ECOI after the signature of an agreement between ATU and the D-8 International University (D8IU), in November 2020.

The D8IU-ATU international joint degree programs are planned to be offered both In-Class and Online.

 

Programs

As of January 2021, the following joint programs are offered in the ECOI:

 

Insurance

Degree: PhD
Type: Taught-Research (candidates will be mainly focused on their PhD theses, but, at supervisor's discretion, they are required also to pass between 3 and 8 credit units to better prepare for the thesis);
Tuition fee per semester: € 1772
(Note: Students from D8 member states can enjoy up to 50% discount on tuition fees).

 

Actuarial Science

Degree: Masters
Type: Taught (students will be involved in a mixture of coursework, exams, and Masters dissertation);
Tuition fee per semester: € 1171
(Note: Students from D8 member states can enjoy up to 50% discount on tuition fees).

 

Regional Studies, Central Asia and the Caucasus

Degree: Masters
Type: Taught (students will be involved in a mixture of coursework, exams, and Masters dissertation);
Tuition fee per semester: € 1171
(Note: Students from D8 member states can enjoy up to 50% discount on tuition fees).

 

Lecturers

The joint programs are taught by a host of well-known, experienced, and knowledgable faculty members all employed in the ECOI, Allameh Tabataba'i University.

 

Language of Instruction

All courses and modules are held in English. Therefore, students should not worry about the medium of instruction.

Degree Certificates

In the end of the joint programs, after successful completion of the courses, students will receive a single Degree Certificate signed by ATU and D-8 Presidents.
