D-8 International University, in line with its mission to strengthen academic and research collaboration among the D-8 member states, hereby informs and disseminates the call for participation in the 9th Global Higher Education Forum (GHEF2025). This prestigious academic event will be hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and Universiti Sains Malaysia from 4 to 6 November 2025 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

As one of the D-8 member countries, Malaysia plays an active role in advancing international academic and educational cooperation. The organization of GHEF2025 presents a valuable opportunity to foster scholarly engagement, exchange of experiences, and the strengthening of research networks in the field of higher education.

The main theme of this forum, “Forging AI Horizon in Higher Education,” will focus on exploring the emerging dimensions of new technologies in higher education. The program will include:

• Keynote addresses and thematic sessions by distinguished local and international scholars,
• Presentation and publication of academic papers,
• Networking opportunities and specialized exhibitions.

The deadline for abstract submission is 30 September 2025, and selected papers will be published in a special issue of an indexed journal.
