Call for Participation in the International Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge 2026 (iYEC 2026)
D-8 International University invites its students and staff to participate in the International Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge 2026 (iYEC 2026), hosted by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Malaysia.
In line with its commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation and expanding engagement with partner universities, and within the framework of the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions, D-8 International University is pleased to share an invitation received from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) to participate in the International Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge 2026 (iYEC 2026).
The international competition is organized by the Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM), UMPSA, and is designed to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to develop and showcase innovative, practical, and impactful business ideas in an international setting.
The competition will be conducted online, enabling international participants to present their entrepreneurial ideas and further enhance their skills in entrepreneurship, creativity, business development, and business pitching.
Participants are required to submit a group video presentation of approximately five minutes, together with a Business Model Canvas (BMC) or Lean Model Canvas (LMC) poster. The submission deadline is 14 October 2026.
The participation fee for international participants is USD 30. The competition features six special awards, while all participating groups will receive a medal and an e-certificate of participation. Postage charges for the delivery of medals, where applicable, are excluded from the participation arrangements.
Through this initiative, participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas in an international environment, strengthen their entrepreneurial and creative capabilities, improve their business-pitching skills, and gain valuable experience through engagement with an international entrepreneurship platform.
D-8 International University encourages interested students, staff members, entrepreneurial teams, and individuals with innovative business ideas to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in iYEC 2026.
