Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), a partner institution of D-8 International University, will host the 8th International Conference on Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development (EESD 2026) under the theme “Digital Innovation for Climate Resilience and Sustainability.”

Organized by the Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Group (EEERG), EESD 2026 is recognized as a leading international scientific forum that brings together researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and present innovative solutions in the fields of energy, environment, and sustainable development.

The conference places a strong emphasis on the role of advanced digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and big data analytics, in addressing critical global challenges such as climate change, environmental degradation, and sustainable energy transitions. EESD 2026 aims to highlight cutting-edge research and practical approaches that enhance climate resilience and promote long-term sustainability.

Conference Themes

Researchers are invited to submit original contributions in, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Renewable energy innovation and deployment
• Energy transition, decarbonization, and distributed energy systems
