SUSTAINABLE WATER MANAGEMENT DOCTORAL TRAINING PROGRAM
It is our pleasure to announce the Open Call for the Sustainable Water Management (Water4All) Doctoral Training Program.
Water4All is co-funded by European Research Executive Agency (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) and The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye. Four leading universities from Türkiye, Izmir Institute of Technology (coordinator), Istanbul Technical University, Middle East Technical University and Gebze Technical University, will be recruiting highly competitive 20 doctoral candidates in total.
The call for the program will be open from March 15 to June 15, 2024. Information and details on eligibility criteria, selection procedure, employment conditions, Ph.D. topics, etc. can be found at https://water4all.iyte.edu.tr/ .
Elaborating on the eligibility criteria, WATER4ALL program is looking for candidates who;
- have NOT resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Türkiye for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the Call deadline.
- are doctoral candidates, i.e. not already in possession of a doctoral degree at the deadline of the co-funded program's call. Researchers who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis but who have not yet formally been awarded the doctoral degree will NOT be considered eligible.
- have an undergraduate GPA≥3.0 in one of the following areas: Engineering, Photonics, Urban Planning, Data Science or closely related fields.
- possess a master’s or equivalent degree in one of the following areas: Engineering, Photonics, Urban Planning, Data Science or closely related fields.
- are fluent in English. Non-native English speakers should provide any internationally recognized test such as TOEFL. Candidates should have TOEFL/IBT≥84 and its counterparts.
- have a GRE score of at least 158 pts quantitative received in the last 5 years.
