Universiti Teknologi MARA to Host the 3rd International SDG Innovation@IBSD Virtual Competition 2026

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), a partner institution of D-8 International University, has officially announced the call for participation for the 3rd SDG Innovation@IBSD Virtual Competition 2026. Organized by the Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainable Development (IBSD), the virtual event is scheduled to take place under the inspiring theme, “Leading Change: SDG Innovations for a Dynamic Future.”
The 3rd SDG Innovation@IBSD serves as a premier virtual scientific and innovation forum designed to bring together students, academics, researchers, and industry professionals from across the globe. The platform provides an excellent opportunity for participants to showcase cutting-edge, creative solutions and practical approaches that align with and support the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ultimately contributing to long-term global sustainability.

The virtual competition places a strong emphasis on fostering multi-disciplinary collaboration, recognizing outstanding research, and translating impactful ideas into actionable innovations. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work, exchange invaluable knowledge with global peers, and secure prestigious medals for their innovative contributions.

Competition Themes and Guidelines
Prospective participants are invited to submit original innovative ideas, research outcomes, or system designs addressing any of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

To ensure eligibility, all submitted abstracts must rigorously follow the official formatting requirements:

  • Length: Strictly between 200 to 250 words, contained within a single (1) A4 page with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Typography: Main text must be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12, Regular, and fully justified. Title must be in Font Size 14, Bold, and centered.
  • Keywords: A maximum of five (5) keywords are allowed per abstract.

  • Abstract Submission Deadline (Extended): July 02, 2026
  • Notification of Abstract Acceptance: July 04, 2026
  • Video Submission Deadline: August 14, 2026
