The webinar on "Challenges and Patterns in International Student Recruitment" was held at the D-8 International University.
On July 13th, the webinar on "Challenges and Patterns in International Student Recruitment" was held. The speaker for this webinar was Dr. Abdul Razak Ahmad chairman of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS).
According to the university's international relations department, this webinar was organized as a pre-event to the first International Exhibition of Study Attractions in Iran. Dr. Abdul Razak Ahmad, the chairman of EMGS, shared Malaysia's experiences in attracting international students.
Dr. Abdul Razak discussed the methods of branding Malaysia in target countries to attract international students. He highlighted that Iran has an exceptional capacity to attract international students and recommended that, based on Malaysia's experience, Iran should initially focus on attracting students from neighboring, linguistically similar, and policy-aligned countries.
The chairman of EMGS emphasized that Malaysia's academic community collectively and creatively engages in efforts to attract students. Facilitating visa issuance and extension for talented individuals is another strategy to ease the recruitment of international students.
