D-8 International University offers PhD program in Econometrics which is concerned with the application of mathematical and statistical methods in investigation of economic and commercial data. The large numbers of data sets that are currently available are the results of the influence of Information Technology; these include data about the activity of financial markets or consumer markets obtained through supermarket scanning. Thus, graduates who possess the necessary skills for managing the potential of such data, including the skills for analyzing energy demand, business and commerce trends, international trade flow, and consumer behavior, face increasingly great prospects.
